Other annoyances:- Adding labels was once a simple name comma format that fitted in nicely with my artist compliment CSV files for albums, now there is a strange name match with a tick box all in alphabetical order from your previous entries, setting new ones in the label table is now done one by one, a definitely longer task than with the previous method.

Useful features:- The "How does my blog look" on Device option
is handy for ensuring the presentation looks OK on tablets, smart phones etc.

Start (actually end) of 2004 collection

Humphrey Lyttelton "Best of Jazz" December 13 2004

Google Blogger has made some seriously annoying changes to the editor, needing a re-learn to present these entries, so for a while presentation will be look different.

Here we start with the latest of the 2004 collection of "Best of Jazz", working back in time as with previous entries to allow a time sequenced set for visitors

All the material presented here was recorded from the BBC Radio Two channel in the U.K.
Recordings were made from both FM radio and digital radio, initially recorded on DAT tapes
some of which have developed errors in the 16 years they have been stored, some quality issues do exist, efforts are made to repair where possible bad sections but some parts are un-recoverable and of course some programs were missed due to other activities, this is not an apology, it is fact, so what you get is what there is, if anyone has copies of the missing dates, I would be grateful to receive them for inclusion here.

Now on to the music :- Program title "Born in New Orleans"

Abraham Wilson, Monk  (2004)
Bessie Smith-Louis Armstrong, Reckless blues (1925)
Witchcraft, Sister Sadie
Fats Waller, When somebody thinks you're Wonderful

Keith Jarrett Trio, Five Brothers (2004)
Herb Geller Sextet, Marable Eyes (1957)
